Who Are We?

The Family Reach Young Professionals Council is a dynamic community of driven, Boston-based professionals in their 20s and 30s who are passionate about giving back and creating meaningful change.

Our members come from many walks of life. Some have a personal connection to Family Reach. Others have seen firsthand the emotional and financial toll cancer takes on loved ones. And many are simply motivated by a shared desire to stand with families facing cancer and help ease the overwhelming financial burden that often comes with a diagnosis.

What unites us is a belief in the power of community—that we can make a real impact when we come together. We’re committed to doing meaningful work, building lasting connections, and having fun along the way.

Mission Statement
The Family Reach Young Professionals Group empowers the next generation of leaders to take action against the financial burden of cancer. Through fundraising, advocacy, and community-driven events, we raise awareness and critical support for patients and caregivers—ensuring that no family faces cancer’s financial impact alone.

Participate in the planning and execution of fundraising and networking events such as tournaments, galas, happy hours, and much more!
Member Benefits

Commitments
  • Participate in quarterly Young Professionals Zoom meetings to stay connected and engaged
  • Attend and support Young Professionals events throughout the year
  • Serve as a Family Reach ambassador, helping to raise awareness and engage donors, partners, and volunteers
  • Collaborate in the planning and execution of at least one event annually
  • Support fundraising efforts, including securing a minimum of one event sponsor each year
