Known as Daya, three-year-old Dayanara lives in Sunnyvale, California, with her mother, father and two brothers (ages 11 and 19) in a home the family rents. Daya is full of life and personality. She is described by her mom as a, “diverse little lady” whose interests vary greatly. Daya loves tutus and big dresses, but also enjoys playing sports and wrestling around with her dad and brothers.

Daya was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in August of 2016. She was immediately transferred to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford and admitted to the NICU.

It was August of 2015 when Sydney received the heartbreaking news that she had a grade III inoperable brain tumor. Instead of starting a new school year in her hometown of Nashville, Sydney immediately began radiation followed by a year of bi-weekly chemotherapy. This took the family in a direction they could have never expected and forced them to look at life with a new lens.

A ballet teacher and aspiring interior designer, Amy is also a 37-year-old single mother of two beautiful children, Isaiah, eight, and Esther, six. Both are full of energy, and music-loving Ester follows closely in her mom’s creative footsteps.

A sweet and bubbly 12 month old, MeleAna was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a rare type of liver cancer, this past spring. She currently lives with
