How to get started as a Student Leader

Check out the information below to start your own campaign or start a Student Leadership Chapter at your school. Before starting a chapter, be sure to check with your school. If a chapter already exists, you can join their team!

Step 1: Learn more about the program

Step 2: Fill out the registration form
This form will be sent to our Student Leadership Program Liaison to let the Family Reach team know about your interest. We will be in touch to offer any support you may need as you start your journey as a Student Leader.

  • If parent of student is interested in becoming a Parent Advisor, please indicate below and enter name and email address.

Step 3: Create a fundraising page
This page can be set up as an individual fundraising page or as a team page if you are planning to start a Student Leadership Chapter. All of your fundraising and campaigning will be directed through this page, so get creative and make it personal!

Step 4: Get started
Now that you are signed up as a Student Leader, it’s time to start planning your first project to raise funds and awareness for families fighting cancer. Host an event, run a campaign or get started on launching a Student Leadership Chapter in your community.

Important things to remember

  • Keep your Student Leadership Fundraising page up to date and use it to receive donations
  • Don’t be shy! Share your success stories with us via email, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
