Eradicating cancer-related financial toxicity is a serious goal, one we know cannot be accomplished alone. We are committed to collaborating with a diverse array of stakeholders inside and outside healthcare to develop tangible solutions that are feasible, sustainable and impactful. Our dedication to collaboration is highlighted through our Imagine series and the many pilots and projects that have launched as a result of our collaborative efforts.
Projects and Pilots
Financial Treatment Initiative
The Financial Treatment Initiative (FTI) was created in response to a call-to-action from Vice President Biden’s Cancer Moonshot for collaboration. The goal? Advance solutions for the most pressing problems faced by patients and caregivers. The FTI is designed to expand the financial services provided by Family Reach, reaching patients before they are in need of emergent financial assistance. Uniting financial professionals with healthcare technology and the hospital system, the FTI is a comprehensive approach to CRFT that expands our programs and integrates financial health into a patient’s cancer treatment journey. Learn more about our Financial Planning for Cancer and Financial Navigation programs, both core components of the Financial Treatment Initiative.
Through the Family Reach Imagine series, Family Reach unites key stakeholders from across the healthcare spectrum and beyond to engage in conversation about CRFT and participate in the development of innovative solutions. Over the past three years, over 150 business leaders from healthcare, technology, finance, advocacy transportation, the food industry and more have shared invaluable perspective at an Imagine event. The LiFT Network
Family Reach is piloting The LiFT Network program to unite nonprofits that believe no patient’s chance of overcoming cancer should be jeopardized by the financial hurdles they face as a result of their diagnosis. Members leverage shared data, resources and a proven program delivery process to ensure patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals across the country can access critical financial resources, quickly and efficiently. Together, we are reaching more families in need. Together, we are stronger.
Cancer Relief Network
On the heels of our second-annual Imagine Session, we are building the framework of a Cancer Relief Network. We’re currently recruiting engaged, social responsibility-driven leaders from transportation, utility, finance, retail, telecommunications, food and beverage industries to help us shape this innovative new endeavor.
