Family Reach, a national nonprofit providing financial support to families facing cancer, is excited to welcome Chris Collins to its Board of Directors.

Collins has over 40 years of experience leading investments that expand access to affordable housing. As Co-Founder and Managing Director of First Atlantic LLC, he has overseen the development of multifamily communities nationwide. Previously, he managed a national investment firm that controlled more than $8 billion in assets, including 2,100 affordable housing properties across 48 states. He also serves as a partner and Advisory Board Chair of Tangram Group, a national developer and investor in affordable housing.

Across his career, Chris has combined business expertise with a deep commitment to ensuring people have access to safe housing and vital community resources. He also serves on the board of Enterprise Community Partners, one of the nation’s largest affordable housing and community development organizations, and has supported initiatives serving families with the deepest needs.

“Helping people secure essential resources like housing has always been central to my work. I’m excited to join the Family Reach board and help strengthen programs that give patients and families the stability they need during treatment,” Collins said.

As a board member, Collins will help shape strategies to better support patients in meeting their basic needs, especially housing, which our partners consistently report as one of the most difficult resources to secure.
