Boston, MA – April 4, 2025 – Family Reach, a national nonprofit providing financial support to families facing cancer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Angele Russell, Vice President of Mission Impact & Partnerships at the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, as its new board secretary. 

Russell joined Family Reach’s board in 2023, and as board secretary, she will continue to be an invaluable member of the organization. Russell will ensure the board stays on track, compliant, and aligned with the organization’s goals, utilizing her legal background and impactful blend of skills in partnership development, strategic planning, and marketing expertise.

“Family Reach is at a significant turning point, ready to scale the reach and impact of our Financial Resource Center so anyone facing cancer can afford their basic needs during treatment,” said Family Reach CEO Carla Tardif. “We have big goals at Family Reach because lives depend on it. Russell brings a wealth of expertise across strategic partnerships, impact measurement, and global health initiatives, starting her professional journey as a Peace Corps Volunteer and later serving as the Executive Director at The Network: TUFH/World Health Organization and Principal Consultant at The Stargazer Group before joining the Colorectal Cancer Alliance in 2021.
