Join Reach Athletes as they return to the streets Boston for this historic race! Conquer Heartbreak Hill, take the famous Right on Hereford and Left on Boylston, and cover this storied 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to Boston, all while supporting families facing the financial burden of cancer.

Reach Athlete Benefits
Being a Reach Athlete for the 2025 Boston Marathon means getting a top-of-the-line race experience while making a tangible difference in the lives of cancer patients across the country.
All Reach Athletes receive:

Fundraising Levels
All of our runners commit to fundraise a certain amount for Family Reach as a part of their participation in the 2025 Boston Marathon. Priority may be given to runners who pledge over and above to required fundraising minimums.
Nonprofit Runners
Nonprofit Runners do not have a bib and will be provided access to one by Family Reach.
$10,000 Fundraising Minimum: Includes a non-complimentary entry into the Boston Marathon and all benefits listed above.
Registered Runners
Registered Runners do not need a bib from Family Reach and have already secured their own invitational entry.
$2,500 Fundraising Minimum: Includes all Reach Athlete benefits.

Family Reach is the only national 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused solely on helping people with cancer access food, housing, utilities, and transportation. Treatment requires more than medicine — families need a roof over their heads and food on their tables to survive. We work with patients, care teams, and community-based organizations to provide immediate and ongoing financial support for these basic needs. Together we’re challenging the systems that force people to choose between their health and their homes.
