In May 2013, Chef Tiffani Faison joined Family Reach as a featured chef at Cooking Live! Boston. Tiffani wowed us with a smoked veal dish that she prepared on behalf of an inspiring 5-year-old, Yan, who is battling an aggressive form of brain cancer.
After working under chefs such as Stephanie Izard and Daniel Boulud, Tiffani Faison first came into the public eye when competing on the first season of Bravo’s hit show Top Chef, where she placed as the runner-up. In 2010, Tiffani Faison became the Executive Chef of Rocca Kitchen and Bar in Boston, MA, and garnered a glowing 3-star review from The Boston Globe just several months after revamping the restaurant’s menu. She also returned to Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars in 2010 as 1 of 18 chefs invited to compete. In the fall of 2011, Tiffani Faison opened Sweet Cheeks to bring her Southern-style take on barbecue to Boston. Sweet Cheeks received a 3-star review from The Boston Globe and was awarded “Boston’s Best Barbecue” by Boston magazine, Yankee magazine, and The Improper Bostonian in 2012.
Tiffani Faison currently hosts Tiffani’s Taste on New England Cable News and has been a guest chef on NBC’s TODAY show and PBS’ Simply Ming. She has been a contributing chef to numerous cookbooks and has been featured in such national outlets as SELF, Entertainment Weekly, People, and Food and Wine.
